With over 60 years of experience in medical compression therapy, the SIGVARIS GROUP has been a wholly family-owned company since its founding in 1864 in Winterthur by Moritz Ganzoni-Sträuli and his partner Niklaus Barthelts. For around 100 years, the SIGVARIS GROUP produced "rubber-elastic textiles" that were distributed both domestically and internationally.

Between 1958 and 1960, the company collaborated with phlebologist Dr. Karl Sigg and developed a medical compression stocking to improve venous function and alleviate venous diseases.

Today, the SIGVARIS GROUP is committed to improving the well-being of people worldwide through high-quality and innovative medical compression therapy products. Our portfolio covers a broad spectrum of needs and indications.

Headquartered in Switzerland, we have our own production facilities in Switzerland, France, Poland, the USA, and Brazil. Thanks to our subsidiaries in Germany, Austria, England, Italy, Canada, China, Australia, Mexico, and a branch in the United Arab Emirates, as well as our sales network in over 70 countries on all continents, we are always close to our customers. We combine Swiss tradition with local craftsmanship.
